On 6 – 7 October 2016 in Veliko Tarnovo will be held the regular meeting of the Scientific Panel on Myeloproliferative neoplasms. The meeting will reassess and upgrade METHODOLOGICAL GUIDELINES for diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic myeloproliferative neoplasms. The new methodological guidelines will be published in the journal "Clinical Hematology" and the website of the Bulgarian Medical Society of Hematology. 

 

 

On 3-5 June2016 in Haskovo was held the Third National Meeting of hematology outpatient medical care, organized by the Bulgarian Medical Society of Hematology. On behalf of the Congress Executive Board, the local Organizing Committee and the Council of the European and Mediterranean League against Thromboembolic Diseases, it is with great pleasure and privilege to invite you to the 24^th International Congress on Thrombosis to be held in Istanbul, Turkey on May 4-7, 2016.

 

This will be the third ICT Congress held in Turkey. The first two were held in 1974 and 2008 by Prof. Dr. Orhan N. Ulutin who was a founding member of many international organizations, including EMLTD and the Hemostasis and Thrombosis Congresses in Turkey.

 

The Scientific Programme of the upcoming Congress will cover topics ranging from various fields of clinical and laboratory issues on thrombosis and related scientific issues. The Congress will feature contemporary lecture topics, evidence-based hematology sessions, and satellite symposia covering the latest developments on thrombotic diseases. The education program of the Congress will strike a balance between the needs of both basic and clinical issues. We took great care in designing a program that caters to the needs of younger attendees through discussions that foster scientific exchange, presentations, awards and special social functions.

 

The cultural program also promises to be appealing, and will highlight Istanbul's proud culture and national heritage.  5th International Congress on Leukemia - Lymphoma - Myeloma will be held in Istanbul, Turkey between the dates of May 21-23, 2015 under the auspices of Turkish Society of Hematology.

This three-day meeting promises to be an outstanding congress with an innovative scientific program and world renowned invited scientists in the field of leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.  The EHA-SWG Scientific meeting: Aging and Hematology: the next questions… will take place on May 8-9, 2015 in Lisbon, Portugal. This meeting will cover all aspects of pathophysiology of aging, comprehensive geriatric assessment, fitness scoring of older patients, treatment of hemopathies as well as treatment of malignant hemopathies (and others biomarkers, stem cell transplantation, palliative care, vaccines). A dedicated Round table will provide a room for discussion with patient organisations to better understand the currently unmet needs and ethical problems in the treatment of the elderly.

This society is organizing 9th Baltic Conference of Hematology on 24-26
April 2014 in Vilnius, Lithuania. We would like to spread this
information among Bulgarian Society of Hematology and definitely to
invite all specialists to attend this Conference.
Baltic Conferences of Hematology are held every other year and have
turned out to be not just regional but also international forums for
professionals interested in the improvement and development of
hematological care. This Conference is a great opportunity to
participate in presentations and discussions of the most recent advances
in this field of medicine and also a great opportunity to establish
long-term international collaboration. Enclosed you will find the second

The EHA-ASH Translational Training in Hematology (TRTH) is a unique program which provides junior researchers with a year-long training and mentoring experience. The program is focused on helping early-career scientists building a successful career in Translational Research in Hematology.
